A: The following courses must be completed in order to be eligible to apply to the nursing sequence:
1. BSCI 20020 Biological Structure and Function
2. BSCI 20021 Basic Microbiology
3. CHEM 10050 Fundamentals of Chemistry
4. CHEM 10052 Organic Chemistry
5. NURS 10050 Intro to Professional Nursing
6. ENG 11011 College Writing I
7. US 10001 University Orientation
8. PSYC 11762 General Psychology
9. Soc 12050 Introduction to Sociology
Additionally, students must earn 30 credit hours (sophomore standing) with a minimum of 2.5 GPA overall and a combined 2.5 GPA in the First Year Sciences.

1. First contact an admission counselor for information on applying to the Geauga Campus of Kent State University at 440 834 4187.
2. Then apply to the nursing program. Applications to the nursing program are available on line beginning in early February.
