University Relations and Development
University Relations and Development is handled by John Granny and Dr. David Mohan. They focus on raising funds to acquire more scholarships for students. The Geauga Campus has a committee that focuses on raising funds for scholarships.
Unlike the Kent Campus, the Kent Geauga campus has a mix of traditional and non-traditional students. More than half of the students at the Geauga campus work full time and also go to school full time.
Through economic development, Kent State Geauga wants to demonstrate that it is part of the economic future of Geauga County. The university offers non-credit training for workforce development and hosts the GEL (Geauga Economic Leadership) breakfast, where speakers discuss a variety of economic issues.
