Service Projects

Ever wonder how to get out of the classroom and into the real world?  With Service Learning this is possible.  Basically, it gives the student the opportunity to work with a company or organization on a project as part of a class they are enrolled in.  The organization benefits by receiving assistance at no cost.  The student benefits by receiving hands-on experience, which will make them a more desirable employee after graduation.  The professor works as a liaison between the organization and the student, ensuring that the student receives class credit for experience in lieu of a class project.
