Self-Awareness Tools:

SDS (Self-Directed Search) is a tool created to assess your Holland Code. Dr. John Holland characterizes each person by his or her resemblance to the six personality types: realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional. Work environments have also been characterized by these six types/models. When a person’s personality type matches the work environment type, (s)he will be more successful and happy in that career. To determine your Holland Code, stop by the Office of Student Academic Support Services to take the SDS.

Collage is a web-based program developed by Kent State University to help students document their experiences at the university and beyond. Features include: self-awareness tools, career exploration tools, experience folder to assist in the creation of a resume, and a junk drawer just for fun. Collage can be accessed at https://collage.kent.edu/
