The Kent State University Access Grant is an institutional grant designed to assist students in meeting the direct costs associated with their education (tuition, room and board if living on campus). Access Grant awards range from $100-$900 per academic year. To be considered for the Access Grant, students must:
1. Complete the Access Grant application (see link below)
2. Be admitted to Kent State University as an undergraduate student
3. Enroll each semester
4. Be considered a student in good-standing and pass all the Academic Progress standards to be eligible to receive financial aid
5. File a 2006-2007 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have the results sent to Kent State University
6. Demonstrate financial
Students selected to receive the Access Grant will be notified in writing. The Access Grant is not renewable, however, students may reapply each year.
