I have lived in Cleveland since 2006 with my husband and our daughter. I have two cats (Stormy and Fluffy). I enjoy teaching, traveling, and reading. I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic and as a Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University in the neuroscience field. I have authored or co-authored various journal papers, and conference abstracts in the field of neuroscience. Prior to joining the Kent State University, I worked as an adjunct faculty at Cuyahoga Community College in the Department of Health Careers & Sciences. In the Fall of 2013 I was honored to join Kent State University, having the opportunity to share my love for science and anatomy and physiology with my students.
