Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Are you interested in a career where you can make a difference in someone's life?
If so, you may be interested in exploring a career in nursing. The Baccalaureate Program in Nursing (BSN) is offered at Kent State University at Geauga. All courses to complete the degree are offered at Geauga. After completing a year of prerequisites, applicants apply for admission to the nursing program. Once admitted to the program, students attend classes all year long. This allows the students to complete a four year college degree in three calendar years.
Students should be prepared to make their nursing education a priority. Course work is rigorous and science based. The art of nursing is also incorporated into the formation of the students' professional role. The education you embark on in nursing school prepares you for lifelong learning. This career requires commitment to continuous education, attention to detail and safety, and scrupulous adherence to the nursing code of ethics. Through this baccalaureate program students learn to be compassionate, caring, nurturing, and knowledgeable in the science and art of nursing.
