Academic Support Services
Welcome to Academic Services – where student success begins!
Students entering Kent State University Geauga come from a wide variety of educational and lifestyle traditions. Students include those who are recent high school graduates continuing their education without interruption, those who have been working for a while and others who are returning after an absence. Regardless of when a person decides to begin a college education, each student needs basic academic skills to succeed at the university.
Kent State University at Geauga is committed to providing academic support services needed to assist you in your college career. The Office of Academic Services exists to help students experience difficulties in the classroom at the campus. It is home to Tutoring (Supplemental Instruction & Peer-Assisted Learning), Student Accessibility Services, Proctored testing services for make-up, online and placement exams, the Early Alert System and Student Success Resources.
If you experience academic difficulty or would like to improve your skills in certain subjects, please contact Ben Morrison, Coordinator of Academic Services at (440) 834-3726 or firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the Office of Academic Services located in the Student Success Center in the Geauga Campus library.
