Students must sign up for the make-up exam at least 24 hours in advance. You may either sign up at the front desk at the Student Services department at the Geauga Campus or in the Student Services Office in Room 205 at the Twinsburg Academic Center. It will be your responsibility to remind your professor that you will be taking a make-up exam on the scheduled make-up date.
Students are required to show a photo ID prior to taking a make-up exam. Students without a photo ID will not be allowed to take the exam. It is not an option for you to take your make-up exam at your leisurely convenience. If you arrive 15 minutes late to the exam, you will not take the exam and will have to re-schedule another make-up exam date, pending your professor's approval. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance or if you fail to show up, your test will be returned to the instructor. No exceptions! It will be your responsibility to meet with your professor to determine your eligibility for re-testing.
Cell phones, Blackberrys, calculators, I-pods, backpacks, pursues and books will not be allowed in the testing room. If you are permitted to use any exam assistance (such as calculator, open notes, extra time, etc.), remind your professor to indicate such assistance on the exam or on the proctoring instructions, otherwise you will not be allowed to use them.
No make-up exams will be administered during Finals week. Students will need to make arrangements with their professor for missing their scheduled finals time.
All exams are proctored by the Coordinator of Academic Services. If you have any questions, please call at (440) 834-3726 or email at bmorri11@kent.edu.
