Admissions Requirements for First Year Students
1. Complete an online application or call 440-834-4187 (Geauga) or 330-487-0574 (Twinsburg) to request a paper application.
2. Pay the non-refundable $30 application fee.
3. Contact your high school to request that they forward your high school transcript OR forward your official GED score to: Kent State University at Geauga, Admissions, 14111 Claridon-Troy Road Burton, Ohio 44021
Although not a requirement, we encourage students to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. This is used to consider your eligibility for all federal financial aid programs (grants and loans).
If you have not taken the ACT or SAT, schedule a COMPASS assessment for testing in Math, English, and Reading by calling 440-834-4187 (Burton) or 330-487-0574 (Twinsburg). Once your COMPASS is taken, you can make an appointment with an academic advisor to register for classes.
