Accessibility Services

In order to be eligible, the student must provide the Office of Accessibility Services with a statement from a doctor or qualified psychologist which meets the standards for indicating the presence of a disability, in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and/or the Americans with Disabilities Act. It is the student's responsibility to provide the Office of Accessibility Services with this documentation. Services cannot be provided until this documentation is submitted and approved.

  • Priority registration for classes
  • Reader/writer referral
  • Coordination of sign language interpreters
  • Note-taker referral and coordination
  • Assistive Equipment availability
  • Liaison with state vocational rehabilitation agencies
  • Test Proctoring with extended time for test taking, quieter location
  • Information resource and consultant for faculty, staff and students
