 Q. How long is the program?
             The curriculum is 63 semester hours. Students may elect to attend on a part-time or full-time basis. The length of time in terms of semesters or years varies depending upon how many hours are completed each semester. Each student should meet with an advisor on a regular basis to plan his/her schedule.

 Q. When do nursing classes begin?
             Applicants are admitted to begin nursing classes each Fall Semester.

 Q. What are the criteria for prioritizing admissions?
             Priority for admission is based upon academic performance and non-nursing course completion.

 Q. Are there any other requirements?
             Following notification of acceptance into the nursing program, but prior to the beginning of the first clinical nursing course, students must submit  documentation of:
                   - good health as evidenced by a physical examination
                   - Mantoux (2 step) Test results
                   - specified immunizations
                   -  participation in a student liability insurance program
                   - certification in American Heart Association CPR for the Health Care Provider
                   - Criminal Background Check (BCI-I and FBI) 

 Q. Where do I  take the classes and clinicals?
             All nursing classes are held at Marymount Hospital and/or the Regional Academic Center. All non-nursing classes are held at the Regional Academic Center.  Most clinical experiences are at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, with the exception of Pediatrics and advanced medical- surgical nursing.

 Q. To whom should I direct questions about the nursing program?
             Questions about the Associate Degree Nursing Program should be directed to an academic advisor at the Regional Academic Center.
